BMR RACING today from EL MIRAGE ***

For those of you who don't know. BMR Racing is headed up by Doug Robinson. Doug started racing in the late 50's early 60's and was racing dragsters under his shop owned sponser "Horsepower Engineering" in Pasadena, CA. He raced at Pomona in a top fuel dragster from roughly '64-67 NHRA. He built the worlds fastest '32 Coupe (running a '56 GMC straight 6) and still holds numerous records today, that car was retired 2 years ago. Today he is running a roadster with a Buick motor, eventually he will run a blown Chrysler Hemi with possibly dual blowers. watch this car......it may eventually break records as he did before with the Coupe......

Dont worry about the BMR Coupe...I heard that its out of retirement. and was picked up by the Ardun club. They want to use the coupe and set records with it with an Ardun motor in it. Seems any motor that goes in that car, they get another record. So far they have patched up the body good as new and it has a full new race ch***is.

 

Alan still has the Hemi '32 5W Coupe, I need to post some pics someday of that unrestored car.
