The car is a "Lemans".
The race in France is "Le Mon".

 

Worked with an Old Timer is was a LeMAN s , he told me he was buying a new car when he retired a Ka MAR ie . I’m like damn welding fumes have been tough on you .

 

I learned how to drive in my Mom's '72 Lemans. I grew up in Iowa, and was pretty unrefined. We all said, "La Monz". Since then I've become more worldly and sophisticated, so I say, "Le Mow", like they do in Ford VS. Ferarri. However if I'm around my less sophisticated friends, I smile as I say it, 'cuz they all know I'm full of shit.
