Went for a ride today up to Fitchburg MA for what has to be one of “must go” events of the early season. With weather ranging from hot and sunny to cold and snow on various years, today lived up to the reputation featuring a mix of cold, wind and light rain. While encountering some rain on the way up and back, my ‘35 was up to the 90 mile challenge while offering my wife a warm spot to “chill out”. It was also great to connect with a number of friends also at the well attended event. The merchandise selection was great, and by the looks of it, much of it found new homes. Here’s a small sampling:
Mark, someone has to keep an eye on me, even if from a distance. Actually, we met up with Daughter, Son in law and Granddaughter for lunch on Clinton. Loved the look of that black GMC pickup!
Pete and Mark, thanks for the pictures. I really miss going to Fitchburg for the V-8 meet. I had been going to the V-8 meets more than 45 years. It was always good pickings, and a good social time, too.
