Great day as the sort of season opener of old car stuff for the area. Seeing some famliar faces and old cars is a great way to spend the day!
When a buddy and i left to go to it, it was nice and sunny on the south shore, then pouring rain the whole hour drive out, so it was a relief when it managed to hold off and make for a fun day! I usually take a few hundred pictures,(and the things i did take pictures of have already been posted) but now i have some model a projects im working on/ collecting parts for, i actually had a reason to look more seriously than just wander around since looking for anything late 30's buick or Edsel related is usually pretty fruitless. Outside of some little chotskies, found a 28/29 hood in great shape and some 16" wires on rollers and had to immediately set them up on the pile of parts.

I was pretty set on full fendered but this may change things

That speedster body was sitting there last year too. Someone needs to scoop it up.

I’m glad the weather held out (kinda). I picked up a basket full of trinkets but nothing to write home about.

  19. the speedster was a little thin in spots but I was surprised it didn't go quickly.
only thing I bought were 4 17" tires for $20 but I had a good day.

You get a project with thin metal, I'm thinking you just spray it with polyester primer inside and out a few times. Build it back up. I wonder if they make "all metal" body filler in a sprayable format? That would be cool. Sheet that thing in liquid steel. I come up with good ideas on Vicodin. Follow me for more
