A few years back, I picked up a starter thinking it was for a Ford N series tractor, but it is not. When hooked up to a 6-Volt battery it spins fine. I'm not sure what it is for and was wondering if it could be for a Ford Flathead V8. Starter.JPG

  2. Looks like it. What do both ends look like ? Length of the body would,nt hurt, or diameter .

Looks like the body is 4-1/2" in diameter and about 13" total length.

Does it weigh about 98lbs when you try to hold it above your head with one hand while looking for the stupid ratchet with your other hand?

    Cool.
