Fords new (Retro) F-1 Pickup

This one's a little O/T for the main board but check out Ford's new retro style F-1 pickup for 2025. What do you think? Would you buy one?

 

I'm 100% certain that's another one of those AI generated images for the "new 2025" whatever. They're all over the Internet and totally fake.
But even real, no, I don't think I'd buy one of those any more than I would have one of their 02-05 Thunderbirds. You simply can't recreate the magic of the original in today's environment.

 

Information I researched says it AI generated nonsense. Nothing from Ford says they are doing this.

I think your correct because even in the same video they have several different grille styles, and many different videos on this.

All that hype and it looks like an international harvester.

 

1. They do not have the capability to do deep draw shapes like those fenders.
2. Has no signs of modern crash standards applied.
3. This has not been 'leaked' as Ford's direction at any time in the recent past.
4. AI images and voiceover.
Verdict - fake content made which is not real. I hope your critical thinking is better tuned to spot BS, otherwise you should fill out a power of attorney and let someone else handle your affairs.

 

I saw one on YouTube the other day that was similar. "The New 2025 VW Karmann Ghia."
An interesting design for certain, but obviously CGI, AI, or whatever the current buzz acronym is.
More that ever, if it seems too good to be true.....

 

First one I saw was about the new 25 Lincoln Continental. Didn't take long to decide it was all horse*****. The "narrator" even described the "lead" headlights. YouTube seems to be drowning in a blizzard of this*****. But I can't figure out what the point of it all is. Who profits, and how?
