'33-'34 Plymouth Dash Tech

  1. I picked up a dash from a 60s Dodge pickup at the swapmeet a few weeks ago for twenty bucks. Today I cut it down to fit the RPU project. Please disregard the messy shop, choppin's more fun than cleanin'! Here's what I started with:

    Too wide! Gonna have to cut it down.
    Here's my trim marks.

    I took out 17"

    Now to trim the corners a bit.

    Fits in there a little better now. Looking pretty good so far.

  3. why is there a cover for the guages nice work? Just love all the cut you made to get it that short.
     
  4. The empty hole will have a panel made of s**** aluminum for guages. My buddy's out there firin' up the welder as I type.

    Looks pretty good I have a Factory gauge cluster for one of those dashes if you are interested.

  6. The dash tacked together hael in place by my weldor, Rusty. Now he wants to build a hot rod. It's contagious!
