Who else is going the Rhinebeck Swap meet and car show this weekend?

Saturday racecar, hot rods, customs, and muscle cars.

Sunday antique and classics.

The weather is not looking great, but I will be there!

For the few people who have my cell phone number, I killed my phone two weeks ago and haven't replaced it (I am not sure I am going to I don't miss it a bit!) so there is no way to contact me, once I leave the house.

Hope to see you there Saturday. Let's hope for a few hours of decent weather. So far everything I have been to this spring has been cold, wet and windy.

Ct1932ford will be there today. Not sure about anyone else.

We got rained out at Fonda with the Vintage cars last Saturday, tomorrow is the make-up date but I am going to skip it would make a long day plus they are calling for major rain Saturday night and I don't need to get soaked at the racetrack two weekend in a row!

Great day in Rhienbeck ! Perfect weather, visited with lots of good friends and found what I wanted. Ted got some stuff also and had a great burger, so he said .

A nice day to walk around and see a bunch of familiar faces but missed you Robert!

Oh yeah, there were cars (and trucks) too in the show area:

 

This was my 52nd Rhinebeck Swap Meet and one of the best. Shopping with my 13 year old Grandson was a lot of fun. Don't worry about the future of the hobby, he was buying for Hershey, and having a really good time. The N.O.S. rear fenders were a great addition to the Steelback project. Lots to go through, not everything was automotive. Great to be home and in dry clothes.

 

I missed some guys and saw others, for the first time in 39 years I had nothing to sell and wasn't looking for anything to buy. Although I did wind up with a pair of cross country skis. They were free so I gave the guy $5.00. I left around 1:30 got home (3 miles away) emptied the car and went in the house to have lunch and boy did the sky open up. I could not see the house behind me, it was a sheet of gray.

I saw you with someone else carrying the skis from a distance, I was trying to find dad he refuses to own a cell phone.

I was just getting on the bridge when the rain let loose.

 

I remember reading on here many years ago that people were calling this show "Rain Beck"
Guess that must be correct.

 

Yes correct. Last time I went there I left about an hour too late, and I still had vacuum wipers and not much vacuum.
