P.S. Also working on two 1960 Chrysler 300F engine rebuilds (one is done, dyno'd, installed & runs great + finishing up a factory A/C restoration on it, the machining on the other should be done in a week or so... ), 1956 Imperial chassis and mechanical restoration (with engine, trans and most of the suspension already almost done), fabricating some reproduction smog equipment components for early 1970s V12 Ferrari engines and a 1937 Supercharged Cord 812 was brought in yesterday for variety of problems needing to be sorted, including clutch, cracked cylinder head, radiator, etc, etc, ...

... with three, possibly four*, early 1970s V12 Ferrari fastbacks on the waiting list for variety of services.

All the above is OEM restoration work, not hot rod jobs, per se.

    * Will find out tomorrow, over lunch.

Nice find. I have a set of those but one of mine has a small piece of the gasket lip broke off. Some day I'll repair it. Pretty hard to find and they usually bring good money.

Fix one thing, somethingcomes up next ! Water leak is gone n good now.
Made about a 40 mile run to a show`` sat.< Turned out that had been can'ed=but no one posted that it was off ! Bizz that hosted went belly up late week,I found out! :(. So with another rod that came too,we went for pizza :D:p at our anytime hang out !:D. On way home brake pedal dropped lower then normal,an that also made brake light stay on all the time. Lucky it still stopped with extra pump.
    Got home OK!
Checked a number of things, brake wise=that I had not checked as much as i should.
Brake adjustment had gotten off,so redid that. Opened master Cly an looked in{ front only 1/2 full n turned brown=bad n has water n rust. Rear was full, but also brown n rust;;; I'll be pulling the master off n cleaqn up or replace, plus bleed all n check wheel clys next [ I use 1948 drum brakes in my 28A, I rebuilt them a few times over the years, but its been too long now ; my own falt for being lazy, from last time.
Some more fun fix it time ;):D:cool:

  16. Yea Dana, funny you mentioned this kinda. I just changed the brake fluid on the coupe over the weekend, I do it every 2 years weather it needs it or not. Glad you got home ok and can fix the problem.

This one does use a tailhousing mounted shifter. It's out of a 63 Impala SS.
