Did you have to coordinate the paint color with her bridesmaids dresses?

I like the look of this. I have to redo the chop on my '53 that I did in high school, I had considered a shoebox rear window to replace my sunken wraparound glass (which leaks and never worked well) but this is the first example I've seen that I like with that window. I've seen many others try it but mostly with poor proportions, this one is good, and that's saying something.

  4. I'm a fan of '52-'54 Fords and I have seen a lot of chops on these cars that didn't look right, you guys have done a great job with the sedan, personally I believe the sedans make better chops than the coupes, the proportions on the sedan are spot on, looking forward to watching this car come together. I didn't know you were on the hamb, or I would have tagged you in the post!

I agree! With sone sound advice from Jim Jacobsen, my college 3rd year auto teacher, we practiced restraint and the roof fell into place.

You have done a really great job! I am so happy to see it being finished right!

That Ford looks very cool! I really like the color. Will the " Just Married " painted on the deck lid stay?

Congratulations! Car looks excellent. I didn't understand the radiused doors in the first picture, but it adds a lot to the finished product. Good job.

  24. I keep going back to this pic. So I did some crappy editing with my crappy phones basic photo editor. Lol. Now it looks like a pic from the cover of a late fifties rod and custom. Would likely be on the same roll of film with it next to a pool while people played bridge lol. Everyone can say all the details to do an era correct car. But imo nailing the look is often luck and by accident lol 20250503_160429 (1).jpg
