Technical Intermittent squeak from flywheel area

    Pic above ,the Bendix is not fully engage threw ring , broken spring
    Will do that
    Or
    Is you engine externally balanced?
    Maybe Zero flex plat with a counter weight between Flex & Crank flange

    I'm not sure that starter is good. I changed to the other one because it stopped working. the cheapo one is way to close causing the noise.

    I ordered 2 flex plates. one 153 and one 168. is there an advantage to either? I will also buy a new starter.

    So.. sent the first starter back. The cheapo one was way to close to the flexplate so that's out.
    New flexplate ordered and new oil pan and gasket time to fix that oil leak.
    Engine refreshed and New starter on getting ready to go back in.
