If it doesn’t make it go faster or stop then you don’t need it

  4. Having just finished putting in door glass in all four doors of my 53 today it's amazing what new glass will do for the looks of a car

Well i don't have a radio, don't have a speedometer, don't have power brakes nor power steering, but i do enjoy a working gas gauge, and these windows are a nice addition to the functional door locks lmao! And by the way, if you have to haul your car on a trailer, don't talk shit to me :p:p:p

12BCAE0F-BB2E-45E8-AD37-047E57F066D6.jpeg Someone told me I didn’t need a heater either. You ever try and drive with the windshield iced or fogged up. Unless you’re car rides on the trailer. Defroster is a must

;)If you ain’t to worried about a speedometer you won’t mind staring at an open hole for a while after you send it in, to be done I’ll move you to the front of da line.

IMG_5513.jpeg IMG_5511.jpeg IMG_5510.jpeg Cam’on Lloyd I just finished one out of a 56 210 gasser from Johnson City Tn. It killed me but I left it ragged ass looking so it wouldn’t stand out like a sore thumb in his car. Sorry deleted the two pics with his contact information.
Won’t take long at all, or are you gonna make me pull one off the shelf. Don’t make me send you to the HR department .

I’m going to plan on trailering my Vette to Bowling Green because I can’t pack enough in it to camp for 4 days.

When I was a kid, we took trips in my dad’s vettes and he pulled a trailer with the luggage. :D

Sorta reminds me of a lady I used to work with. She and her husband both had Sportsters and went to Sturgis every year. They rented an enclosed U-Haul trailer to take the bikes. I asked her one time why they didn't just ride the scoots out there. Her response went something like "Mike, it takes half of the trailer just to haul my make-up."

I get it, and I wasn't talking about everyone. I have a good friend that owns a 68 Camaro, nicest one around, he has spent more money on that car than you'd ever imagine, but he won't drive it anywhere, it sits in the garage. I asked him to come down and convoy to Bowling Green, and he said "I don't know if it will make it to Bowling Green".... are you kidding me? Sell that piece of shit!

It seems like some people think they have to save their cars for the next owner. Not me.

Reminds me of the first R&C Americruise in '93. Finished stitching up the top chop in time to get a windshield installed and took off for Springfield, MO, by way of Pete and Jakes near KC. Those of you who were there know that it rained for an hour and then the sun came out for an hour. Then it repeated itself over and over all weekend. BUT I WAS THERE!!! IN MY JALOPY!

Sprayed a truck cab, figured I'd jump on my car for a bit and it started pouring rain  my buddy Dave gave me an old bakery/ bread box to use for a storage box in the back, and I'm gonna put my battery in it. I drilled it and stuck insulated box connectors in it, and put my disconnect in it. Then I figured I'd decorate it some lol... 20250513_145048.jpg 20250513_123033.jpg 20250513_134751.jpg 20250513_134743.jpg 20250513_134730.jpg 20250513_143652.jpg 20250513_143709.jpg 20250513_145008.jpg 20250513_145010.jpg

Battery box is looking great! You could run dual batteries for ballast.
The paint job on the pickup looks beautiful as sprayed. That should pay some bills!

    Love that money!

  27. To borrow a out of quotation from Crocodile Dundee ," Now, That's a battery box! "
If you ever decide to go low & slow there is enough room in that box for all the batteries. HRP
