no round parking lights and you will have a hole in the grille for the hood release. everything between the headlights is different.
I got to see one of those up close and personal when he drove it into the back of my van. Not a good day for him.
Wow, I kinda like it better. The rubber nose always looked out of place and I dont like the extra lights. I winder if I can fill in the hood pull slot in the grill.
I agree with it looking better than the real ones. I built one like this in about 1990 and it looked great.
Poor man’s rally sport. I’ve done it a few times. No pics as it was pre I phone and I didn’t take many pictures back then.
That red car is almost exactly what I am wanting to build. I have a low miles, real ss. It has perfect floors and no rust, I am thinking carbs through the hood, slapper bars and a set of slot mags or centerlines wrapped in bfg radial t/a tires.
Oops, sorry. I meant the last red car. Centerlines and carbs out of the hood. Perfect! Mine will not be red!
Saw this at the local show today, it was the only split bumper there- guess what it is red, took a couple of shots for you .
Does it still have the low back seats. I started my car life on early second gen Camaros. In the 90s you used to be able to pick them up cheap and parts were still in wrecking yards. I flipped cars, sold parts, had fun......I sold my hoard of parts too soon when I went to older cars. Personally (no dig intended), I don't like the bumperettes without the R/S nose (and the rest)......looks incomplete....but I like stock looking cars. The R/S nose only had a couple of extra bars to hold it on. Last Camaro I had was a '70.5, 4 spd, no center console, no p/s......just a heater, pretty unheard of around here. BTW, they changes grilles in the standard Camaro in '72 I believe, the grate slots were larger in '72-'73, then '70.5-'71. The smaller slots hid the latch hole more. Most comfortable, stylish cars that were super modern. The only real issues with them is the doors were so heavy it would wear out the hinge bushings and the doors would sag. When my body gives out I might have to go back for a daily driver. *EDIT* Nevermind, I just seen what they're going for now........I'll just put a more modern drivetrain in the Hillman.
I am thinking of getting rid of the front turn signals all together. Maybe I will hide some Little ones in the corners of the grill.
