  1. Thanks very much Steve. I also love the truck, I follow the drag week runs. Awesome!

    I just couldn't resist posting my model-A here. ....

Not all model-A's were made into hot rods. Some of them were put to work on the farm.
Before and after photos of my 31 model-A tractor ( most likely built during the depression ).

This has 20 to 25 model-T frame and rear axle.
The cultivator frame underneath is also a model-T frame.
Rear hubs are actually front hubs off a 28 to 31 Chevy with mechanical brakes.
Front axle and steering column are also 28 to 31 Chevy.
Engine is 31 Ford model-A with old 4-speed Chevy truck transmission with power take off to power rear flat belt PTO.

I've been wanting to see one with that front tire size on it. Thanks for sharing.

I guess I hadn't had enough coffee this morning, I didn't catch the Model A part  :D

I hopefully redeemed myself and replaced the photo with one of my old Coupe instead..

  27. In post#1404, above, the steering box pitman arm on the trailered 29 is facing up. What steering box might this be? Seems it might solve some potential clearance problems when dropping the front end. But would bump steer be more likely?

BTW - I love the look and stance of this model a.

turn most cross steer boxes on their side it'll point the pitman arm up.
yes with a split wish bone setup like that there will be bump steer.
