Got it home last night but it was too dark to get pics!!! took some today (after showing it off to a select few!!) I need to get it covered up (no garage space) but will drive the **** out of it before desiding what to do to it next...poss doing the yellow satin black..or silver with flake ..or gold with flake and gold leafing the name (the Pharoah, the original builder had a thing about Egypt!) Do have to say the graphics on the sides actually look pretty good and arn't as bad as they look in the pics. .....I can feel a smoke machine and some neons coming on (the only poss justification for them!) though as it would look like it was just floating along on a bed of mist!!!! Oh and maybe a lace job on the roof.....and a hard bed cover , diamond pleated like the interior!. Any other ideas I could work with???
Neat CAR!!! but i have a question, how the heck do you change a tire on those things???? does the whole front fender come off??? how about the rear???
that thing is nuts. but i have to ask 2 questions. first, what is it? second, do the front tires rub at all when turning?
JohnnyG..it's a 51 Nash and no Nash didn't make a pick up in 51..nor any other time for that matter!! and no the fenders don't rub Eric..I have no ****ing idea .....yet..but the fenders don't come off
well when you figure it out, fill me in!!! good luck and hope you don't have to change a tire soon!!!
Looks like it has short fender skirts that allow enough room to take a wheel loose. Are those removeable skirts? That is a cool truck!
come on team even the wife loves this car......she has asked me if we're keeping the A!!! ....like duh!!
and what did you expect an other Honda?? No boy it's a cool lookin' whip....sorry been watching "pimp my ride"!
here's what I'd do before I painted over the goofy Pharoh deal in the back. got 2 egypt type guys in line bringing gifts to the pharoh right? well I'd add RAT FINK and a greaser next in line....
Oh, don't get me wrong ... I like it. It's just wacky. I'd have to get rid of the graphics, but it's a cool little truck for sure. It does look like one of the hovercrafts futurists promised us as kids.
...thats the kinda sight that causes accidents on the road...like a hot chick crossin the street in a short skirt. I would flip out if I saw that on the road!!! Nice !!!!!!!!!!
Nice Nash. Amazingly enough I designed up a 51 Nash pickup for a customer about 12 years ago starting with a station wagon. The only this I was missing were the fins, they are killer. I see if I can find the design and post it. My vote for the future is a white above the trim and sliver flake below. Drive the hell out of it and make me jealous.
Wierd, but cool. I guess you won't have to worry much about wheel/tire look. Might look cool in pearl on top and black on bottom...
I'm afraid the emperor has no clothes....I'm sorry, I just don't get it. I'd look, I'd point, I'd laugh and I'd walk away very quickly...or aren't we supposed to say things like that about someone's car?
[Nice little bath tub you have there. I always quote dare to be different and you are really out there! regards Petrolheadquote=rockabillyb***man]Now THAT'S a headturner!![/quote]
C O O L ! ! ! But, if I may, that colour combo makes the truck look tall. Possibly a very dark rocker, with lighter middle and dark-ish top might make the proportions come out looking as they should. Oh, and LHD in a RHD country, I'd think I'd go mad... Cosmo
You car say what you want dude...but no one can ignor it.. I just like it...you can see people spin around and do double takes as you drive down the road..Kids point and laugh, old people smile and BMW drivers just look blank!! what ever you think of what it looks like it's aint a "serious" car, for christ sake side profile it looks like a carpet slipper!!! It has a 2ltr EFI pinto lump and a 5 speed box which means 35 to the gallon as well.. and gas here is $8-9 a gallon!!
Packrat it's the only one like it any place, Nash never made a PU and Rattlecanrods..any chance of the pics!!
