Tamco has deleted the following review multiple times. I’m not sure if they delete all unfavorable reviews. I did not find their paint stripper any more effective than Klean Strip ($24 per gallon from my local hardware store) on my 1967 Chevy C20 original paint. Very expensive as well at $50 per quart ($200 for a comparable gallon). Claims by Customer Service made it sound as good as the old Methylene Chloride strippers now generally banned in the U.S. As mentioned, no better than hardware store regular Klean Strip. I felt mislead by customer service representative. To add insult to injury, any review I post to their website is deleted. No trust for any of their products if they keep deleting my unfavorable review.
Welcome to the HAMB ! You have come to the right place to comment about automotive paint products. (Hopefully your thread doesn’t get deleted due to the mentioned ‘off topic’ vehicle).
Someone else recently popped up to ask how to make an ancient tractor rustier. It’s getting weird here.
Did you even bother to look at the rules before you started this thread? Most first-time posters introduce themselves in their first posts. You know, "Hi, I'm ----- and I've got a 19-- Buttmobile. I'm really glad to be here so I can learn more about these traditional cars". You, however, seem to take it for fact that whatever you're concerned about is more important than anything else on this forum. Here's a suggestion, take your problem and your Off Topic truck over to the Off Topic forum because that's where it belongs.
Last week it was TRJ, the week before, diesel oil, now this, I’m looking forward to next week when oil filters come up for bitching again. Maybe it will be parts house inventory. @Lloyd's paint & glass
I've found mechanical brake fluid to be an ineffective paint stripper unlike juice brake fluid... I'll see if my review gets deleted
All strippers cost money and you only know if it was worth it once everything is bare…. Welcome to reality
In case anyone is wondering about the paint stripper , klean strip makes one comparable to their old stuff, it is called klean strip ULTRA paint remover, about $100 a gallon
