2 amazing artifacts from a world traveler before the jet age. Including the original luggage tag from the famous German passenger blimp, the Hindenburg, which suffered the catastrophic fire-crash at Lakeport NJ on May 6, 1937. 2 Samsonite hard suitcases from the 1930s. Slightly different models complete with all original travel stickers from hotel and airlines from all over the world. My research shows that these cases once belonged to someone named AR von Scheutel who traveled the world in the late 1930's and apparently had a Bugatti Type 35 race car with a club membership sticker. Great documentation of different propeller air services and new US Airlines like Pan American and hotels in India, Japan, China, New York, Los Angeles and more. Great material to research to see how he traveled around the world. All stickers and tags are original and nothing has been added. I've owned these for over 20 years and now is the time for someone else to enjoy them.
