It's 1117 Trailer Guy!

Here is the humble abode of my super-awesome neighbor. I shared this story with several people when I was in Hershey, so I figured I'd give them a visual.


"You're into cars, you know anyone that wants to buy a hotrod?"
"Depends on what it is"
"It's an '85 Mustang Five Oh."

"You gotta spray can nozzle I can borrow?"
"Ummm....sure."
The next day I see he put some custom numbers on the trailer. Nice.

"You got a ratchet I can borrow?"

"You're just gonna throw that away?!"

Oh, the stories go on and on. Anyone else have a super-sweet neighbor that wants to borrow stuff constantly?

 

I didn't notice the rebel flag "curtain" until today. I'm sure Martha Stewart's going to borrow that idea.

 

I may be interested in that Five Oh, but only if its up on blocks already. LOL

A Trailer Has Wheels Not Skirts....UNLESS ITS A PARADE FLOAT

 

I'm making progress, it's just really slow. I'm about done with the floor. I'm afraid to go out to the garage, that's when 1117 trailer guy likes to pounce! Not to mention my other neighbor who is about 10 times more screwed up in the head.


I had to ditch the Buffalo wire wheels since the offset and adapters made it look bad, so here is a quick mockup with my new wheels. They are 19" Plymouth.

 

I used to have a neighbor like that.

He used to borrow everything from tools to toys...
Then, one day, he borrowed my woman and never brought her back...

It's cool, I didn't like loaning out my PS2 games, anyway...

Look at the bright side, when the water gets high enough he'll float down the street and be somebody else's neighbor.

 

Don't remember you living on a lake, have you moved? Floor is looking good, glad to see your working on it.

 

The driveway was torn up from....drumroll please.....the port-a-potty buisness next door! I've been living the American dream!

Unfortunately, the port-a-potty business has since moved, so the ambiance is not as good as it once was. I feel delightfully white trash right now.

 

Dont agree to rent a place when it is DARK outside.

 

Lessons learned. I drove 3 hours to check out the place real fast, since I had to relocate for my job, and there were no port-a-potties around that day. Imagine my delight when I moved in and looked out the window to see about 50 crappers.

Oh well.

 

Now you don't have a pot to wizz in, much less one to throw it out of.

OMG this is the funniest shit! Well that wasn't a portapotty pun either. The thing that makes me laugh is - besides the rebel flag- is the fact that the curtains are 3 different colors/patterns. I mean couldn't they even find matching sheet to make some decent "Shurtains"? I mean C'mon! Where's Earl Scheib? He was telling me about the double wide AND double storied trailers they got in Tennessee now. Technology is funny. What do you think is wrong with that fridge? or is he using to start a night crawler colony? I've seen that done....people are funny!!

 

i'd bet 1117 trailer guy has a mullet. did anyone else notice the dog? i think 1117 trailer guy used the spray paint to camo the dog too.

yeah just spent 3 days waiting for my battery charger to come back home. Ya gotta luv neighbors for sure...lol

 

Does he have an REMOTE controlled boat yet? One with about 40 feet of wire connected to it. He'll be bugging you for batteries next.

"I'd race you but our wires get all tangled up and then I gotta cut em apart" he says as you notice all of your wire nuts in an old Skoal can on the porch.

 

Dude you should be so proud... but has he been back over lately.. and how about the poet, your other neighbor..

 

I haven't seen 1117 for a while, but that might be a completely different story......


My other neighbor, "The Human Caliper" as I like to call him, has been MIA. He's the one that told my girlfriend when they met "hell, just call me ol' wrinkle dick if ya want." Classy all the way.


1117 Trailer Guy does not have a mullet, but he does have a googly eye.

 

If 1117 was down here, ALL the "window treatments" would be Conferderate flags... but not the plain ones, they'd have a chopper or a truck in the middle...

 

that looks like the trailer i saw on an episode of Dirty jobs last night, about roaches......i cant explain it but if anyone has seen that episode....the phone was practically walking away there were 100's of roaches infested...in JUST THE PHONE.

 

as a car guy, i will not make fun of a guy for what his home looks like. i've lived in comparable places to that trailer. in fact i'd prefer to live in that trailer with a 40x60 shop out back, rather than piss my money away on a house i don't spend much time in. hell, i have no problem living in the shop.

i've been down on luck before, sometimes you gotta live where you gotta live. but the car. the car is what matters! and yeah, his car sucks.

 

looks like some places i've lived in.....only better.
