Interesting, I haven't seen that before.
That particular one reeks of Chineseium though. Seller location and the description says

-Made of Solid Steel for Maximum Durability and Protection

    -Avaiable Color: Red,Blue,Black,Gold,Sliver,Purple

-Easy to Install ( No Instruction Included )

Sure looks like anodized aluminum, no instructions and 20 pages of Fits - along with the single review indicate a cheesy flimsy adapter between you and the main vehicle control system. A R&P in the cars mentioned will have less bump back at the wheel than a typical box, even in a light weight 27. Be careful! This handles more stress than a valve cover, air cleaner lid or shift knob.

Made a little bit of progress tonight. Today I picked up an early Mustang radiator after reading about how nicely they fit the 28-29 shells. There have been several mentions about flipping them upside down, but I don't recall seeing any pictures I figured I'd take some.

So here is the stock radiator. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of how it fits before installed cutting...

The first issue to fix is the side mounts are too wide to fit into the A shell. This is an easy fix, just lop an inch off either side and that'll get it in the shell.

No while the rad fits inside the shell, it can still sit a bit higher. So next we trim off the corners of what used to be the bottom side of the mounts.

Now after smoothing and a little shaping with a flap disc, the rad fits nicely up into the shell. Pay no attention to the OSHA approved footwear...

Now I probably still need to take an inch or so out of the shell so it plays nicely with the height of the cowl, but that'll come later.

Now I gotta call around and find a shop to mod the radiator itself.

  3. I know, I said it was a quick search. I just wanted to show that something like that was available. Didn't mean for anyone to buy that one. A better search I'm sure would turn up a good quality one made in USA. Is it any better than a removable steering wheel, probably not. Remove wheel, exit car, reinstall wheel, go on about your day.

No complaints on the find,@Fat *** Whitewalls , just that specific product. It's probably listed by a dozen resellers, none who will be there when things happen. There could be a much better design that provides the same feature. I thank you for showing a novel solution to clearing the wheel for in/out.

Note: Bond (Glue), NOT fibergl*** it together!
