Hey guys I’m looking for different wheels for my 63 impala. I’d like something that is 14 or 15” that will directly bolt on. Thanks

Depends on what you're shooting for, hot rod look Torque Thrusts, mild custom chrome wheels or Supremes, could do painted wheels with spinners or dog dish hubcaps. Wheels change the look, I had Torque Thrusts and chrome wheels and skirts for my mild custom T-Bird, quick and easy change for a different look.

Can’t go far wrong with Cragar’s either.

Chrome steel wheels, blackwall tires and exposed chrome lug nuts, no caps.

Chrome reverse and spider caps. Timeless and proper.

I like them all that’s the thing. I know I don’t like wire wheels or anything too modern.

Whatever wheel you decide on, make sure the size is 15”.
You’ll have better options for tire sizes.

I’ve had a set of chrome smoothies over forty years ago although I’m not a huge fan they are the easiest wheels to clean up and keep nice…
Thing is they are a 70s wheel with a plastic hubcap at least mine were.

That’s a good point . I heard manufactures are making larger tires.

To new for this site possably (?) but factory rally wheels look good on those cars if you want a stock type rim.

Torque thrusts are my favorite on 60's to 70's cars for a ttaditiomal aftermarket look

  23. Personally, rallys are some of the ugliest OE wheels ever

I had the shallower centers that said disk brakes on them on my nova and felt they looked clean and simple and sort of stock.
    15x8 rear and 15x6 I think we're the fronts.

I have a set of custom 15x12" rallies for a OT car with 30" slicks on them

To each there own. That's why there are about 2000 rim choices.
Never been a Craiger fan for example.
Always felt they were wannabe polished Americans that rusted if not taken care of.

Open up a web page. Go to your usual search website. Type in 1963 Impala, then select Images.
Look at a thousand pictures, and decide on the ones you DON'T like. This narrows it to ones you like or are meh.
You have asked a bunch about this car, but haven't come back with the suspension, transmission or other fixes, including paint. No pictures, either.

Since you keep asking, I would have the car bodyworked to perfection, painted Black, have a full top of the line Red interior, a 1963 date code Corvette FI engine and 4 speed trans, and spacers to mount 3 lug Renault steel wheels.:p:p:p

  29. Maybe source some nice 15" chrome reverse, Cragars, or Torque Thrusts from one of those idiots ruining their cars with big wheel/low profile tire trendy crap.

  30. I like GM Rally wheels. Black with the chrome center cap and rings.
