History Low Riders, Zoots Suiters and "Pachucos"

After 2 days of perusing this thread I am thinking it may be time to Bombas the '48
Oldsmobile that we use to tow the '48 Spartan Manor travel trailer. Am thinking that
air/spring bags in the rear should handle the load..if it's good enough for the 18 wheelers
...good enough for our use. Haven't yet been enthused with the Olds but am feeling some
ideas and cool factor coming on to get me motivated.
Never thought I'd ever want an old man 4dr...but... I am an old man and it's time to make it mine !

I think that the combination that you have with the sedan and trailer is very cool on its own. Both look to be in beautiful condition. To make changes like this so that you can be happier with it is a good thing. There have been some 4 doors that broke out from the stigma of unexciting family cars, sometimes you just need to ignore the fact that it has four doors. They may not represent the typical hot rod/custom but some have great lines and styling points. And as you get, ahem, a little older the logistics and comfort can be appreciated. I am in the middle of doing my first 4 door now, and am not ready for a reveal yet, but I am very excited about it. Have fun!
