Ron, the lower one is definately it, although my bell must have been moved to the light spot. I am doing the date based on the information for the side sticker on Pedal Car Parts.

IMG_1804.jpeg IMG_1818.jpeg IMG_1821.jpeg IMG_0533.jpeg I don’t know if I have shared these here or not, I know I have over on aaca. The Kidillac was a rough and rusty woods find, first pics are after grey primer. The other was my brother’s first set of wheels, not much left of the original hardware so I thought I would hotrod it.

  3. I don't like to restore them unless they are too far gone also. I wish that I had taken a before picture of this one. It was also just an old rusty woods find. The kids love playing with them. The Kidallic is Ruthie's. Maybe she will give it to her little girl someday? 042.jpg 687.jpg 627.jpg

With respect to the op (Ron!), this isn't actually a pedal car. It's powered by an electric motor that looks like a starter. Hopefully someone can tell me more about it.

The first part of my checkout will be to look for a motor tag. The lady whom I got ot from said it was from the sixties. I need to know if it's 6 or 12 volts. Like a car I once bought, the missing hubcap was inside! 20250605_074026.jpg

  7. A cool find Steve! Looks like a FUN project. I've never seen one like that before? Maybe it could be a neat home build? If so ? It looks very professionally done. The speedometer says it's doing 100 mph. But that's probably with a 12 volt. lol  The grandkids would really love that one. Keep us posted.

Here's a couple of pics of the '49 Kidillac I "restored". I painted it to match my '49 Cad, and had a friends son make some Kidillac logos on his 3D printer, and used a 70' Cad crest for the trunk lid, now all I gotta do is get the seat upholstered to match...

Found this in a box of my dad's pictures. Pretty sure I am reading the writing correctly on the back. The girls name is Valarie, 5 years old in 1957.

Built this one when my grand daughter was 1 year old now she is 20, I have it displayed in my garage now. It is Powered by a 2 wheel scooter motor with a Dewalt battery. Also built a rack-n-pinion steering from scratch works very well.
