    Maybe someone was just too cheap to buy new fenders and front sheet metal, so made his own from Farm Supply store offerings?

    Sadly he weren't the only guy to dream this up.
    I recall seeing one in the old Alberta Auto trader mag back in the 80s on a Dodge 4x4 ch***is, ad was looking for $25,000 at that time
