Was any of the other mail/packages found? Possible everything they thought was junk thrown in the same area? Now that I’m researching these mags I understand the frustration. They are some expensive mofos! I see one on eBay right now, no tag. I’m sure you already know of that one.

I hate to tell this , but I had a biker Bud the purchased a mag for a Knucklehead . It was shipped and someone picked it up. He got the license plate number on the camera . Calls the locals , they told him they contacted the car owners and they knew nothing , sorry about your luck was the response . Now is when the bad starts , in Ky you are allowed to run the vintage of your historic stuff year plate legally and that plate is never attached to anything . I have a few vintage bike plates . I loaned him one and off he goes . He says he deposited a road flare in the front seat of the car at 3am in the morning . I’m thinkin that left a mark .
I’m by no means saying this is the way to deal with this , but I’m betting it will make the stealing bastards think “ maybe we should not do this again .”

So this lead plate. Is this a set and let it eat base? It looks like what my never-done-a-flatty-mag brain is seeing although cable operated to advance or retard timing from inside the car. I'm working on an 8cyl Auburn rt now and it has a spark retard cable in the dash for starting. Maybe that's why the idea is in a fermentation stage about this whole saga. I can just shut up about it I guess...o_O

  6. You need to sign up for USPS informed delivery, they email a picture of your mail coming that day.

I would have thought our fearless leader would have tracked these low-lifes down by now and nailed their asses to the wall. I keep checking to see, and I will continue to do so. For some reason, I have faith..........:D

I am… and it’s great, but it doesn’t stop people from stealing your mail.

    Oh, I will… It might take years, but trust me… I will…
