The reason I do it is so when the ad expires or the car sells, you can still see and read what the car was and what it's price and description were. If I don't do it that way, you'd never know what it was. I think most people like to see what the vehicle was instead of clicking on a mystery link and just seeing "ad expired" or "posting deleted" and wasting their time opening a non existent ad. Makes sense the way I do it, don't you think?

The best thing to do with that thing is jack up the radiator cap and put a different 49 truck under it

I take it not everyone appreciates 60’s style wild kustoms.

No really. 99% of the other posts show one pic with a link. That makes sense. People can choose to click on that link and check out the ad rather than do the endless scrolling through multiple posts of vehicles they may have no interest in. If the ad is expired or deleted people waste their time by their choice

I appreciate wild customs. I don't like shoddy bodywork on anything, especially wild customs.

Couldn't post a link. Doesn't seem all that bad and there's a couple other interesting items in his yard.

Maybe 2-4 overall photos and a link, but half a page of random parts, rusted out areas and a stripped interior is a little too much.
I skip right over link only posts, like you said, they are often gone.

Do you think the 57 Chevy is a Nomad? Seems like the slant of the rear tailgate would indicate that. Of course it might just be the picture

Just stumbled on this on FB. I saw this car when it was in Member Emeritus' @modifieddriver's (Frank Hagen) shop about a year before he died. I've wondered what has happened to all the 35 - 40 cars he had since I've seen none of them posted for sale on the HAMB. If a person was interested in vintage racing, this would be the way to do it. You couldn't buy the parts for the asking price. Link has video, turn up the sound.
