Has anyone tried to put a 10” wide or better tire under a 55 customline ? I would like to use 325 wide on the back of my build , any thoughts ?

I have 255/60x15 tires on 8" rims on the rear of my '55. I have an 8" rear, but it measures out like a stock unit. The wheels are centered perfectly in the wheelwell. On uneven approaches, the tires rub either the inside or outside of the wheel wells. If I drove it more I would put more narrow wheels and tires on it.

I don't remember, it has been a long time, but it is deep. The front spacing is a little more than a stock wheel IIRC
