Unless you want it to sit like a 4 wheel drive the rear crossmenber will need changed to probably to an A if your wanting a buggy spring rear. A Halibrand will require notching the gas tank while a Winters V8 rear will clear the tank by about an inch. You could use parallel leafs with a Winters but you'd still need to do something with the rear crossmember. Lots of options available.
As @krylon32 says the first thing required is an A cross-member and spring then a notched tank depends on which QC you end up with. I don't know if the 1" clearance that you get with the Winters version is enough to change the gear which are close to 1' wide. Someone with this set-up could comment on this. In my 32 I am running a Halibrand Champ (301) which is much larger than the V8 (201) with A cross-member and spring, C-notched Chassis rails, a big notch in the tank (probably a US gallon less capacity) and a much modified trunk floor.
As @swifty says, the A rear crossmember will require a good size slot in your trunk floor for the arch to protrude through. There used to be a stamped repro hump for Model A sedans that could be used to cover it all up. It doesn’t necessarily need to be this big, but you get the idea.
@hotrodA pic shows it perfectly then in my case with the larger Champ QC I have another raised section nearly as wide as those U-bolts heading forward and tapering down to meet the floor
Ford nine inchers out of 57 passenger cars are still out there, it's the F100 housings that are pretty scarce.
You don't have to cut your floor, just graft the center of the model A cross member to the 32 and make it level with the frame rails. You also don't have to notch the gas tank, all you do is re drill the mounting holes about 1" back on the frame and shift the gas tank back. There are plenty of 32's out there like this. I am doing this right now to my 32 roadster. Don't make it difficult for your self.
