Sometimes the sun shines brightest with a rainbow after some dark clouds pass through.
    Good man, Doug.

Got to admit I've never seen a ratchet like this that was partially pictured along with the mag. From what I gather it's almost as rare as the mag. Looking forward to more photos as the install progresses.

Yet again goodness triumphs over evil. The world can be a pretty fucked up place but every once in a while the stars align to show us there is hope.

My grandfather had that ratchet as well. Used it many times to disassemble lawn mower engines in my youth. I ended up with a lot of his tools, but alas, that was not one of them. Kind of weird how seeing that brought some amazing memories flooding back.

    Hey @Ryan
So glad that your friend Doug, stepped up the plate and provided you with another magneto!
That is truly an awesome gesture on his part, Bravo Doug!

But I was shocked to read that this magneto found it's way to you via the mailbox again !

I assume there was a whole new batch of mailboxes that replaced the ones that were ripped off?
Man that is ballsy to try to trust the integrity, of the mailbox again out there on your country rural road.

Sure hope that "KARMA" catches up with the culprit that ripped off all of those mailboxes!

    caught.jpg
Might be time to install a solar powered surveillance camera to keep an eye on those mail boxes!
    Just a thought from Dennis.

When your mail gets swiped, you don’t crawl into a hole and lick your wounds—you bolt down a locking box, rig up cameras, and go on high alert. You do something.

But this one? This one didn’t even hit the mailbox. It came via UPS—straight to the house.

I’m tickled that you were able to get a replacement magneto and make the dream come true. I love photography and was asshole deep in it years ago and especially love black and white. So here is my favorite because of the depth and detail…….. IMG_3285.jpeg

It always makes you feel good to help somebody, I’ll bet Doug didn’t want any recognition either.
