Looks like someone has removed the heat shield. Here is one intact:

 

That one I just posted was in New Zealand at a museum.

 

That's funny I was going to write something like that just couldn't resist the Elmira NY fire trucks in the fields Ha Ha!!

 

That weird windshield is an aftermarket thing that the fire department would have added. They didn't come that way from the factory. And for those who hadn't noticed, my speedster project was sold some time ago.

 

Any update on this La France Build?

i am in the UK trying to build a speedster on a 1917 4 cylinder ch***is, i need a camshaft and oil pump drive shaft can anybody help
