Man there’s some cool shit on the first pages for around 23-26k! First pick is my below 20. Not totally my normal go to. But it’s got sooooo much history and neat shit on it. Been watching this one on Instagram The last few days. For 3k why the fuck not? for low 20’s this 40 just has the look. It’s somewhere between a Weesner drawing and a small sculpture on someone’s table. It’s not 100% what I’d do underneath but fuck it’s just got such a good presence. For the more cash than I’m spending this 32 sedan is just feels like a car I’d see in a collection and geek out on. Not sure I totaly followed the guidelines there but it was the first three pages. I think the v8-60 roadster got left out but only by the thinnest of margins. A few tiny details aside I really fucking dig that car
At my age of 72, these three really caught my attention, because I could still work on them, plus I like to be able to roll up the windows with a hand crank, and lets face it, these are viable cars that are the best that is represented by their, make and model year, as restricted by us, only getting to use the first 3 pages. I didn't worry about the prices, I just like those three great cars! Everybody else's results may vary greatly! Thanks from Dennis.
OK. Some tough choices on those pages! First up for the under $20k is 1937 Stude pickup at $11.5k. Second for the over $20k is the 1939 Ford coupe at $28k. Last is the over $30k. 1956 Ford Convertible at $55k.

Paint that thing matte green and it screams hamb 1999 At this point you need to stop looking at sedans and just start teaching the oldest to drive. Your in two car territory lol But a 54 suburban with the third row would be a pretty cool road tripping family car….

Under 20k Yeah its a t-bucket, but its a well sorted car with history @$12,500. Less than 30k, Really original driver, great bones for a classy mild custom. Over 30k Historic Hot rod in great shape, turn the key...
Hello, These classified searches and personal choices are always fun. In reality, the over $30k category is probably the one that would be the closest to a real purchase. My wife has always liked convertibles and her mom owned a 47 Buick convertible when they moved to So Cal in 1950 from OKC. She rode with her mom and liked the atmosphere of sunny days, top down, cruising around, even if it was to go shopping. (which she still does 75 years later…) If she really thought it was a final purchase, one of our daily drivers would have to go, as we only have a small two car garage. The extended spare tire unit would not fit in front of our tall garage cabinets. Unless we took them out, so, there is that. The only addition would be a Vintage Air addition. Yes, it is a convertible, but most of the time, the top will be up and windows also up, so So Cal does require A/C. But, the quintessential scene for So Cal, is an open convertible driving down a row of tall palm trees in a sunset cast sky. So, with that in mind… Over $30k But, driving around with a huge spare tire sticking out of the rear area definitely would make others back off a little… but, parallel parking or diagonal parking would take some getting used to the added length and depth perception. YRMV The opposite end of the spectrum allowed for the choices was fun. The prices were excellent for what was in the state of build. So, some work should get them running well and look sufficient to drive as a daily driver. Yes, both would require A/C. Our old 327 powered 40 Ford Sedan Delivery had A/C and it was a necessity. Under $20k A 1920 Model T sedan, Pete Eastwood knowledge, looks well built, good starting point for more work to be done. But, it is a starting point for an unusual hot rod build. Not a rusty pile that will take years or lots of money to have someone find all of the rusty parts, missing parts and other steps along the way for a junkyard find. This one is sitting in So Cal ready for the next step and having fun while finishing it. A similar style of early Ford Sedan. Sheldon Bardin, Early Times Club Long Beach Sheldon was a Long Beach local from his teens until relocating to Europe these past years. But, he left So Cal with several hot rod builds to leave a legacy that is hard to follow. This 1926 Model T sedan is one that most builders did not make, as the Model A and 32 Fords were the popular models at the time. Jnaki Under $30k This category has one that stands out over all of the others. The quality parts selected in the build, low miles and the cost is right up our instant purchase alley. So, why hasn’t it sold? There are a tons of good parts and installs for the price. But, the first thing I would do is to replace the 32 grille with a stock 29 grille. The smaller stock grille looks better that the one on the sedan. $650 and no one has jumped on this? If it was within a couple hours of me, sheesh. Love these cars. It's my pick regardless of price and a smoking deal to boot.

Enjoying this challenge but since I'm a cheap skate, I'll join the un-herd-able cat crowd and picked three under 20k, and all had to be drivers (or darn close); $3,800 OBO; $7k; $9k OBO; Fun challenge!
