Found this place after researching and looking for help with a '54 BelAir 4 door that I recently acquired. I'm not new to working on cars, but I'm new to working on cars that are this old, and new to working on cars that have been sitting as long as this one has. I picked it up for a song....I definitely don't need another project, but I couldn't p*** it up. So for now, it sits under cover next to my boat, and my kid's (16 yr old kid) car that I've been working on for him (2006 Cobalt), blocking the garage door where my motorcycles and other **** are. Some of ya's here may have helped me a couple of months ago on FB, when I was trying to get a door or two open. Got new tires under it and was able to get a couple of doors open, and that's where I'll be at until I can clear some calendar space. It'll be awhile. For now, I'll keep reading here. Glad I found ya's. 1954 BelAir 4 door, not running, pretty solid, very complete, all original 235/Powerglide. ***led and have keys. 86k original miles. no dings, very little rust, though I haven't peeled the carpet back yet.
