I’m in the process of replacing basically the bottom of my ‘38 Chevy coupe. A few years back I replaced the bottom “legs” of my firewall because it was rotted out at the mounts. Me from a few years ago thought I had measured and done everything right, but current me isn’t sure. I’m finally about to start doing the floors and want to make sure I have the firewall right beforehand. If someone could measure the firewall height from the frame to the top of the firewall for me that would be much appreciated. Either side will work. I don’t have the mount pads installed so I’ll account for that, I just want to make sure I’m in the ballpark! I attached a photo for reference. Thanks!

I have a 37 coupe that has orig firewall. I can get you the measurements you need. Can't open your pic, so not sure of what you are looking for??

Thanks, I appreciate it! I’m looking for a measurement straight up from the top of the frame where the body mount bolts up, to the top of the firewall where the hood sits. I realized when I added the photo from my albums that it was marked private, maybe that’s why. I changed it to public. Hopefully that worked.
