Some good stuff showed up, good friendly crowd.

Having hell resizing photos on new phone so yeah, some are chopped up a bit..

 

Dig that Buick. Gotta review how to tell Special from Super.

 

It was a nice cruiser. I had to squat down so you couldn’t see the LS powerplant.
Multiple cars were running LS’s.

 

My wife and I stayed in West Plains on a motorcycle trip years ago. Nice town, and looks like some interesting cars in the area. Is the dirt track still going there?

Yes the track is still a thing. No races yet this year due to rains. They claim they need a week+ without rain for proper track prep. In this country, it can turn from floods to drought whenever Mother Nature decides to.
They actually draw some big name racers once it gets up & going. Just too wet this year, so far. That’ll change likely soon when it’ll turn dry & hot.

That is a 1953 Special, Leon. The Super has the lines same as yours. It is a 1953, too, isn't it?
