Nice work, giving this old car back it's dignity. So good you were able to get parts locally!

I like this project. You have a vision and you are steadily working towards it. Good job. The best part is while someone else started the project years ago and even presented it, it doesn’t appear to have ever been a properly built custom and certainly has no big name ***ociated with it. When you are done with it, it will be yours and it will showcase your ability and inspiration. Keep it up.

I managed to do some more work. All four doors are rust repaired now, trim holes welded, dents removed and Lincoln style door ****ons installed. The visible door openers are needed to make the vehicle legal here.

The door ****ons, rust areas on the door not yet repaired here.

Tail lamp area reconstructed. Before it was metal junk and tin can pieces covered with a bucket of filler. Now it is metal only, no or just minor filler needed. Not yet 100% finished.

This is another shot, showing the amount of filler applied before. The die cast housing was just burried in filler.

The big name on this build will be opel. I like it and your vision for it. There are loads of cool four door builds. I really like your Lincoln door ****ons. I was locked out of my no-door-handles car just a few weeks ago. I don’t usually drive it when it is cold out so the windows are always down, but I stopped to get gas and closed the door with the keys in the ignition. For some reason my emergency cable wouldn’t pop it so I had to call the Mrs to come and rescue me with the spare remote for the electric poppers.
