FINALLY got dad outa the chair & into the rod

    The whole time i was building my truck i had a plan to get my dad out of his wheelchair and into the hotrod.I aready had a hand control set up,i fabbed a mount off the bottom of the colum drop and put them http://[​IMG]in.Ican take them in and out in about 10 min,it was a little tight for my legs with em in. Drove out to dads ,got em in and dad took me for a ride. he drives a van everyday so it was nice change of pace for him. burn some rubber,style &profile what agreat day.

  8. That's great! Being a relatively new dad (1-year-old son), it gives you a whole new perspective on the relationship with your dad. If my dad loves me half as much as I love my boy, that's more than enough.

    Good to see you're giving some of it back.

    defenders and I did something similar to that for my father-in-law and I'll tell you right now, it'll be a month before the smile goes away.
