Banjo rear with late model axles | The H.A.M.B. 1948- 1950 Ford F1 Dana 41 complete rear axle | The H.A.M.B. use the giblets from that
Why in the world would you go to all the extra expense of prepping a banjo rear when you are changing all the rest of the drivetrain? Hundreds of dollars for the T5 torque tube adapter kit. Hundreds of dollars for different brakes. Hundreds of dollars for the bearings and races. Possibly hundreds more if you are doing slide in axles. Then it’s all still weaker than a 9”. Use a regular T5 tail shaft. Then get a new 9”, and some Pete & Jake style ladder bars and spring hangers, and then you can put your foot in it at every green light. And might even be cheaper.
I only wish this was going to cost me hundreds! I’ll have around $5k into just the trans and rear axle
