dusty knuckles- Im really digin your ideas, and I will check that stuff out. I am getting drawn into conceptualism, but its not by my choosing. This instructor will let every technical error slide, but will dock you a few letter grades if she doesnt like your concept. Thats my biggest problem with contempory art; there is so much focus on novelty, and making a political statment that is commonly accepted by the "fine art" community, and very little focus on craftsmanship and quality......... I realize that when talking about photography as art, that a strong image has to do more than be visualy appealing. That is one of the reasons I like getting pushed conceptauly, because it will help my art, but I only like being pushed so far...

Mark- Mans ruin... I can see that...

Scoob- Ill keep that in mind... I can barely aford to fix my cars. No way I can afford to fix a model...

ChevyGirl- I just check out the dagmar bumpers link, and am, going to check out the other link.

Dirty- We've been playing phone tag for a week or so. There was some kind of miscommunication on it, but were gonna figure it all out, and get it all taken care of. I wish I could take a break...

NVRA- That is a good looking girl, working on a car. Would make for a decent ****, but its not quite what Im going for.

40vert- Im currently doing a bunch of reading on pin-up art. The nose art is something Ive known about, but havent looked into. Do you know of any good sources of information on nose art that could pertain to what Im doing?

msuguydon- Your very right about there being no right and no wrong, its all perception. But I disagree with you on "You love it or ya don't... if you gotta think about it, it's not beautiful and its not ART." I see where your comming from, but even work that I think is a crock of bull **** and a sorry excuse for art, is still art(If I like it or not. I may not accept it as art, but that does not mean its not).

Let me oversimplifly things for a minute. With my project, there are 2 very diffrent ways I can go with it. "garage girl" and "vintage glam". Both could come up with some great results. Im leaning towards the garage girl look, just because it can tell more of a story, but havent by any means ruled out the glam... Its a lot easier to find a girl who looks great in a bikini than one one that enjoys bustin out the welder and grinder....
