Thanks for sharing Moriarty. Your collection past and present is inspirational. Funnily enough, a facebook page i follow posted a whole heap of photos of the 59 today! That colour is now high on my list.

 

I grabbed a couple online shots

 

Sort of pinkish.

 

Not a custom, but even more coralish/pinkish.

 

Is it a custom? No. Is pink? Yes, yes it is.

 

It’s furano lavender, kinda inspired bye the yeakel brothers powder blue n yellow flamed push truck n roadster from the 50,s when paint was still solid. People don’t get it, I don’t get most peoples cars either though being colour blind as heck

 

So...my son's car isn't necessarily much of a custom, but it is sort of pink and it's name is even Pinky...

 

Here's my two. I was shooting for pink primer on the Pontiac in the late 80's but when it got mixed it ended up lavender. It's still in that primer, but not looking as good these days. LOL
