I'm really enjoying this thread. Never thought the Edsel was ugly at all. However these pics show how with a little tweaking a rodder/customizer can really make anything look better!
This 1959 Studebaker Villager Station Wagon has a history involving a family and Kansas and The McPherson College … A great story told by one of the brothers on my YouTube channel … @ Jim Transporting To Travel Traveling To Share Stories From The Road
Ya know, those old Edsels can look pretty good. There's a 4 door here in town owned by a mortician, but damn it's rusty. He keeps it running and driving though. I see it every once and a while driving around town.
Well yesterday my Buddy and I were riding around, and I spotted the old Edsel sitting at one of the local bars here in town. I met the guy once, and he was made for the Mortician job. Dude was bred from a different tree than the rest of us.
Is this photoshopped, AI, or a real car? If it's real there has been a ton of work done to it. It's bad ass!
@Fat ASS Whitewalls AND @1stGrumpy That is a fellow named Floyd Dutton's ride. Check it out- https://fuelcurve.com/something-different-1958-edsel-roundup/
Photoshopped on stance but otherwise pretty correct. Floyd built one of the coolest Edsel wagons I have ever seen and is also a great guy. Car was chopped a couple inches and had all kinds of subtle custom things done to it past that. It is now owned by Dan Shea in Texas.
