Hello HAMB Members, I recently acquired Burns Racing Equipment. I am having trouble gaining access to the website, which has obsolete information on how to contact and purchase parts. Hopefully I can get that dealt with soon. Parts currently available Single Carb Intake with or without the heat plate Dual Carb Intake Model B Side Cover A Few Single Carb Linkage Kits, made with Stromberg parts go to www.millworkshotrod.com to purchase I am currently working on ***embling more linkage kits for Single and Dual Carb set ups and machining Model A side covers. I am also working on developing more parts. If you use Instagram I have opened a account @burnsracingequipment Drop me a note here if you have any questions. Thanks for reading - Ken
Thanks for the well wishes Hi Anthony, Not sure I understand your comment about the pictures? Did I do something wrong?
Have a question for you. Burns made a dual carb intake for 4 cylinder Willys engines any chance you'll be reproducing those ?
Thanks for the update, I have a burns side cover on my A. There's a thread which is started every month https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...e-in-the-weather.1336318/page-3#post-15626431 They are worth checking out for all things Banger
Sorry for the slow reply to your question. Thanks so much for sharing pictures of this intake. I have heard about it, but I have never seen one before. Wow is this neat. I have a lot of parts in the pipe line so this would take a while to get to, and I do wonder what the demand would be as compared to the cost to create the foundry pattern and ***ociated core boxes. I would need hold one of these in my hands and draft it before I could say I could make it again. I shared these pictures on my Burns Racing Equipment Instagram account - thanks again for sharing
If I could get my hands on one to study and get dimensions off of, I would consider it. It is really interesting to me.
I bet the Jeep guys would really dig them. I've seen adverti*****ts for them in '50s magazines catering to the Jeep crowd. Glad to see Burns back in production. I was fortunate enough to get an intake last year and was hoping to get another soon. Good luck! v/r, jason
Thanks Jason I will have to try find one of those ads in those 50"s Jeep magazines. I would love to see one. Ken
