Morning. I have a ‘54 Chevy Coupe project that I’ve owned for a few years now and like many others before me, several life cir***stances have completely drained my time and necessitated that I move the project on to someone who can finish it before it rots away to nothing. I’ll list the specs below, but my general question is whether or not there’s still interest in these cars? Asking because I’ve had it listed for a while now, admittedly high at first leaving room for negotiation, but have adjusted my price a couple times now and although I’m willing to entertain trades as well, I’ve received relatively little interest. Am I asking too much at $4500? I have more than that in it honestly. Should I part it out? 1954 Chevy Coupe (210 Delray) project. Metalwork complete minus trunk pan. Fatman II front end, ZZ’d rear frame on S10 axle. Everything included to complete car plus spare parts (extra gl***, fenders, extra axle, misc.). 2 engines/transmissions. Possibly interested in trades for other vehicles or a paint job on a different vehicle.
I'm not in the market for another project, but around here that seems to be a fair price. I don't see an ad on the HAMB. My approach has been to list a fair price, and slowly drop it until it's too good to p*** up by someone.
what you have in it has NO bearing on what its worth. This is a hard concept for many guys to grasp. list it on ebay with the lowest reserve you will take. ad is only 19. and you will hit a much larger audience then here..........
