This is Papaw, our 1950 Chevrolet 3100. Last September he was all stock. I painted him when I was 14 years old. The weekend after Lloydfest, we started the transformation. He now has a 350, Saginaw Synchronized 3 speed, and a 12 bolt truck rear axle with 3.07 gears. While we were at it, he got Bendix type front brakes, and a dual circuit master cylinder. This year, we drove him from Lloyds house to Bowling Green and back. Almost 400 miles. He ran perfectly. One tank of gas yielded 17.1 mpg. I couldn’t have done this without the help of Little Truckdoctor, Lloyd, and Lumpy. Thank you guys for making a 36 year dream come true.

Here is my 1955 Chevy.

 

My 28 that dad did most of before I was able to get from him.

A bunch of OT stuff under it but that may change as it gets made more mine over time .

Almost completely stock apart from a few details, wheels and lights. I think it turned out OK.

 

Chopped 56 big window daily driver. Pie cut hood, chevelle subframe, 350/350/10bolt, shaved drip rails, shortened 8". Future plans include pinching the front fenders about 3", floating drawer pull grill with canted headlights, chromed running boards, eight 59 caddt taillights frenched into the rear roll pan and I would really like to slant the tailgate forward.


53 F100 we just brought home. Currently cleaning it up after it was stashed inside a box truck in the woods for 15 years. Chopped, shortened, channeled, molded nose, grill, Volare subframe, 302/289 heads, C4, 9" rear, custom interior, 48 Chrysler taillights. After I get it cleaned up plans are to remove the few early 2000's rock-a-silly things and make it more of a late 50's/early 60's show truck. It is close already so it won't take much.
Focusing on basic mechanical things to get it back on the road right now like balljoints, u joints, tune up.

My '36, have had it for ages. I originally painted red and black, SBC/TH350/ 10bolt, parallel leafs with I beam, bias ply wide whites on '49 rims. Now inline6/Th350/10bolt from 53 year old OT Chevy car, not talked about front suspension(bad decision!) and Rustoleum HunterGreen brush/roller applied paint. Mitch
