Don Lee’s Cadillac dealership and W6XAO television broadcasting station, 7th and Bixel Streets, Downtown Los Angeles (1930s) It was acquired by Thomas LaRue in 1965 and renamed Thomas Cadillac. The business was closed in 1989 and the building demolished.
Clark Gable is pictured circa 1945, with his 1941 Indian Four motorcycle, the last year of its production. The motorcycle had apparently been given to Clark as a gift, by producer Samuel Goldwyn, in appreciation of his outstanding work in the role of Rhett Butler in 'Gone With The Wind' 1939.
