Judging from the dash and the contour of the front fender, it looks like a '53 not a '54. I would need to see more pics to tell for sure but I am not on Facebook.

Good eye Alan! It does look like a '53. I think I see frenched taillights and shaved door handles? He mentions a .040 Y-block and top loader 3 speed. Who knows what else there is. Most likely a California car so maybe the rust is at a minimum. Anyhow......a grand for a 2dr that isn't completely roached sounds like a decent deal.

 

WOW! ***le or no, that's a bargain. Especially if the Y block comes with it.

Unreal, had to look twice! I don't think I've ever seen someone turn a 4-door sedan into a 4-door hardtop! Kind of like it!
