Just found this on my YouTube feed for Classic Car Rescue. A three generation collection of lots of stuff, some not HAMB stuff but still interesting. Rust free cars. I think it is Vandebrink Auctions

Nice bunch of stuff, also nice they pulled it all into nice neat rows. I was at a similar pile here in Ks this spring. 2 brothers, 82, 84 years old, junk spread out over three properties. It looked like everything fell out of the sky 40 years ago. No rows, no rime nor reason, just dump it here? OK.

So, since no one could ever get in to mow, and zero truck traffic in the middle, its all waist high grass, and small trees to push out of the way as you walk thru it.

On my way home....whats crawling on me! wood tick. No problem, seen em all my life, pick it off and burn it, smash it, throw it out the window...what ever. Usually 2-3 would be the days take back in Mn. Here, I lost count around 20, I'm sure it was more like 30, then all night long lookin for more, and even a couple days later... more. The little tiny bastards, the size of the head of a pin so you hardly feel them moving. Those are the ones that carry disease, but I'm still breathing.

Rusty Gold, that Lady has a Great job and her voice shows her Love for it! Thanks, Carp.

  7. Too bad it isn't a live auction, I'd go to it.
But I get why it isn't, it's a pretty remote location. Some really cool stuff there, but I REALLY don't need any more projects....

  9. Box Elder, Montana is about 100 miles
northeast of Great Falls near the
    Canadian border.

As of today there is no date set for the
    online auction.

    IMG_6212.jpeg

There are preview dates when you can
see what is available to bid on.

As noted, this is an online auction only.
So the auction company expects folks
who want to see what that they are
interested in bidding on to drive
and look on specific dates but not
be able to bid in person at an unknown
    future date.

That just does not make sense …

  12. Yeah, doesn't make any sense for me.......7-800 mile round trip to go look, then do it all over again later if I were to buy something

Just a hop, skip and a jump from where I grew up in Conrad. Been by there "back in the day" around 2000 (hey, I'm only 45).....lots and lots of places like that out there, just waiting. Except a lot of the fellas aren't so keen to strangers knocking on their doors. We actually had a pretty big collection on the family farm by Brady, MT. Wish I knew then what I know now.
