My quick change axle has magnesium bells made by Jones Engineering. Jones also made quickchange units that attached to the front of a 9 inch ford rear. Evidently they use the same gear sets as the axles. I cant imagine wanting to hang that much extra weight on an axle so maybe it was for a solid mount drag use? Anyone ever have one? -rick
I've heard of, n seen pics of, the Klenz, but not that one. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, but that mini-qc case looks really thick. Also gotta be(used to be?) a ton cheaper than a whole different gennie-qc rearend, esp if you already had the 9". Not to mention, at least now, since they're not common(it seems), if it can be seen, like under a Tbucket, or a rpu(w/o a bed floor), gotta be a huge wtf?-is-zat moment(s) from the mouth-breathing-wuffos. . I like it. . Doesn't appear all that hard to replicate, if you're good w/machinery. Marcus...
So it would have at least 4 gears in it to get the proper rotation if one set can be swapped or reversed ? Id rather see it on the back of the transmission like a 4x4 uses HMMMMM
