one of the web pages that has the picture claims it was Dallas in 1964.

But there's another that claims the car was pink around 1959, and turned blue around 1960.

you'd probably be able to look at cars in the background, as well as hair/clothing fashions, to figure it out.

I wouldn't kick the car out of the garage for leaking oil.

  3. I like it. Stupid low. Looks uncomfortable to drive but I would anyway.
    Love the color.
    Headlight height?
    That’s an EZ fix.

It's a show car, who cares how it drives?

You know, the same ones that had the little adjustable belt in the back. And there was the skinny white belt with the double buckles. Cool, I’m telling ya.

    "It's bait."
    LOL That's pretty good LOL

Reminds me of a picture I've seen of Joe Lewis exiting a theater at night, his shiny soft pink suit shimmering under the marquee lights, contrasting beautifully against his dark skin.
    Absolutely badass yet elegant.
    A similar exercise in contrasts.

And if you still had them, they'd be worth 300+ bucks to a vintage clothing collector. :p

Put some time in this morning.

There was a car show at the Dallas Convention Center in 1964... Jan third through the fifth... And the entry list shows one "Andy Kassa."

If this pic was taken in Dallas, it's a good chance it was taken then. However, the only shots I can find of the Dallas Convention Center from 1964 are aerials and frankly, don't help much. Maybe though?

I have no right too complan about lady colors,so I'm good with the pink ! I really like"Titty-Pink"; even the head lights<note that they are mounted on early aftermarket alum. stands*=So that is why the height. I hate low headlights anyway,,; don't work well and just looks like driver dose not drive at night!! too me !

At the end of the 1950s. I had some free primer { mixed from a few left over cans at the body shop I worked part time in Jr High School, all put together to make about a QT+ of primer,as a first layer on my 28A roadster body=Was "Purple"< was not trying for that*,just was what happened from the mix of left overs!! So it was going be a month maybe, before doing shiny paint. I went ahead an added a temp name [ Idea was to make pretty gals happy ]
I put "Purple Passion":p on the cowel. About a month later,I had it smoothed out,and spryed high gloss Black,an added a new car name.
I guess a long story, just to say> Pink is good in my book too !;)

Comfort, the goal for my 39 is just that. I want it to ride, handle and stop so well that it's almost boring. No excess inputs, no cramped driving, stock seats and controls. At my age kumfert is kool:cool:

November 1960 Car Craft refers to the exterior of the coupe being "brilliant red"
    but also:
"...Cab is upholstered in pink and blue leather."
Interesting colour combination. So the pink and blue paint jobs may make sense in those years.
