Here it is: Houston HAMB Cruze night this coming Sunday November 5th.

Starts: 2:00 p.m.
Place: Jimmy's Place Ice House on White Oak Blvd. (sort-a across from Fitzgeralds, near Montrose and White Oak in the Heights)
Attire: Clean OK, greasy preferred
At***ude: Cool, of course
Duration: as long as it takes

Talking points: Are Stromberg 94s an OK subs***ute for 97s, and do ghost flames mean you are cool or trendy.

All are invited. I have it on good authority that InDaShop and Jabber will both show up with brand spank-in' new rides..from the mid 1950s, and that the first round will be provided.

Bring your ride if you can, but be there. All that is required is a obsessive love of hot rods.

Remember, there are no stupid questions,...no matter how much we point at you, and laugh, and call you a dumb ***.

I work Sunday day shift, but am going to try to sneak out early. I'll be driving the '58 to work downtown so I can just shoot on over.

November Houston Cruze Night Debrief:

 

I made it back none the worse for wear. Had no headlights when I got home but I guess that's ok because i can't see straight anyway right now.

Good time. The other Houston area slackers need to make it out here.

 

I had an awesome time. Best 30th Birthday a guy could have asked for.
Can't wait until next month. Maybe have the '58 bagged and draggin' by then.

 

Shop-it was great to meet you and all the rest-I'm real drunk and with female company but I had to say I HAD FUN!

 

Just a quick-any thing you need from down south-you got that ****!CAD drawings, use of my tools, you or all the guys I met today-CARTE BLANCHE. (That's french for "My stuff's your stuff")Seriously-come use my tools any time you want.
