Was wondering if brake/clutch pedal assy and master cylinder from 39 Ford will bolt up to a 34 Ford pu frame . Im wanting to change from the manual brakes to juice brakes but want to keep it all 1950 or older. Any help would be appreciated!
You can always make a master cylinder mount on the passenger side of the X and hook it up to equalizer giz. V-8 Garage makes a bolt in master cyl kit that uses the stock pedals. You can find a picture of the set up on Instagram. CE used to make a bolt in master cylinder mount and a fabricated pedal similar to a '40. We put one in a '34 with an auto. Could possibly add a longer shaft and hang a '40 clutch pedal; it would take extensive mods to the forward leg of the X to get it to swing.
39 pedals can be made to fit but it is very messy and the frame can be severely weakened. My 33 coupe had this done to it and it is on my to do list to rework it to a tidier setup. I would not recommend it.
