Is it just me or are the sale/sold prices all over the place ?
    $120,000 for a ‘34 five window, $100,000 for ‘32 roadsters and $20,000 for a ‘38 pickup, $24,000 for a ‘40 coupe.

I've been noticing the rather bipolarness of the sold prices as well. Rides that I believe will command good money, sell for cheap and others go to the moon.

32’s and 34’s will always command more than 38 and 40’s. That’s elementary.

Owner has big balls to put that Tudor on with no reserve.
Kudos to him but I think he’s going to get boned.
I see lots of things I’d do differently and so do many on this board but wowza.

  11. Agreed ... At $51.5K, I'd say the buyer (BaT username "Burglar") stole it (pun intended :D).

  29. I do realize that this car is NOT a "Traditional Hot Rod" ... nor is it in any way "HAMB-friendly" ... but it was built, owned, & driven by a HAMBer (i.e., the late, great @lil' john Buttera) ... and because this car holds some special childhood memories* for me, I’m going ahead and posting this BaT auction:

    BaT - 1926 Ford Model T - Lil John Buttera.jpg
    Ex–John Buttera 289-Powered 1926 Ford Model T Tudor Sedan
Sold for $44,500 on 7/17/25 (No Reserve)

    * At the ripe age of 12, I first met Mr. Buttera at the 1974 NSRA Nationals (held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds):

Lil John Buttera hopping out of his '26 T Sedan at the '74 NSRA Street Rod Nats.jpg
... and then I went on to build the entire collection of Lil' John Buttera revell logo.jpg 1:25 models:
